Safety Risk: Affected motorcycles may take longer to stop if the operator squeezes the handbrake lever twice or more in quick succession while the anti-lock braking system is active.
Remedy: Repair
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled motorcycles and contact a CFMOTO dealer to schedule a free repair. CFMOTO notified its dealer network in November 2023 with Mandatory Warranty Bulletin WAR-2023-07 and mailed recall notices to all registered owners in December 2023.

Affected motorcycles have an older ABS software version that requires an update to the latest software version. CFMOTO 700CL-X Sport motorcycles were first placed into U.S. commerce in the spring of 2022.
